I’m not sure if you’ve noticed but there are 4 puppies outside Duta Court for at least a week now. A middle-aged woman comes to feed them faithfully every afternoon. I’m concerned about their exposure to the elements especially the rainy weather now. They have no shelter. Would someone please have a heart and adopt these poor little pups? They are also without their mother.

Please forward this link to as many people as possible. These puppies need to be taken off the streets before it’s too late.

My friend rescued one of these pups when they were a few days old. She is a lawyer who attendend a court session on rainy morning when she saw one of the puppies. As I live nearby, I took in the puppy and foster him while I put him up for adoption. To my surprise, many people called me up wanting to adopt that little puppy. Within a few days, he was adopted to a lovely girl. I was concerned bout the rest of the puppies so I tried going back there a few weeks later. I saw a lady in a Mercedes coming to feed them one evening during the weekend. I always wonder how are they now and I’m glad to know that they are still alive. Heard from my friend, DBKL took their mother away already. Hopefully those pups will find a loving home soon.
Poor mother-dog and poor little puppies. Sometimes, don’t you simply wonder what is missing in these human beings who resort of taking up the job of becoming animal-catchers and perform cruel tasks like separating mothers from their babies, catching animals and causing them to be killed? Surely there are better jobs available out there… What is missing in these human beings??? Don’t they know there are repercussions (in equal weightage) in whatever one does?
Please, let’s help these puppies find homes.

Why don't you quickly go to DBKL pound in Setapak and retrieve back the mother dog for the sake of the pups? Just tell them you want to adopt the mother dog and make the payment for its release to you. It is quite simple. Poor, poor mama dog … sure to be killed!
If only govt brings up a rule, to compulsorily own at least 2 pets per family, it would be simply great.
Yes Anonymous, what you say is true. But we simply cannot stay put, expecting other animal lovers to run on errands for us. Shouldnt we join hands to do something about this misery?
