Imm’s Shelter is home to 23 rescued dogs and 13 cats in Ipoh. They are also looking after 4 CNRM dogs outside the shelter and there are 3 long-term dog boarders in the shelter. All their animals are neutered, the sick ones are given proper medical treatment and if needed, fostered in volunteers’ homes until they are healthy enough to go back to the shelter. The animals are looked after by Oei Phaik Imm, Judy Chua and volunteers. Ever since we first extended our help to them in March 2011, they have sent us regular and detailed updates.
