A collaborative neutering project between HSI and the government of Bhutan – an exemplary model for everyone

Those who have the means and resources, be it individuals, groups, shelters, councils or governments, would you like to take on a neutering project as a more humane way of controlling the stray population? I was told Noah’s Ark has a neutering van in Johor and Ipoh.

We, as a small organisation, are already doing our part in promoting One-Street CNRM and we know that for every dog or cat that we help to neuter, hundreds of unwanted births have been prevented. Countless of suffering can be reduced.

Please let’s do our parts to promote, encourage and implement this more humane method of controlling the stray population.

Killing is not the answer to solving ANY problem.

I beg to differ. A neighbour’s cat was poisoned to death today by her next door neighbour for venturing into his compound. This same neighbour also proded her cat’s leg until injured a few months ago. And this person claims to be a pet lover, once an owner of a puppy. Killing seems to be his option.

Which part of what I wrote are you differing with? We do not condone killing to solve problems.

I don’t condone killing either. But apparently someone in my neighbourhood did. From being abusive to killing. Just now another neighbour told me about a lactating female cat with an injured mouth which seeks shelter at her house. 🙁 FYI I am all for CNRM & what HSI & the govn of Bhutan did.
