Shafila Shaifful has been updating me on Orange’s (the Cat) progress at the vet’s. Orange underwent kidney surgery last week and survived. He is now recovering and still boarding at the vet’s.
Since Shafila could not bring Orange to our panel vet, the surgery was done at another vet’s clinic in KL. Apparently this vet has already reduced his charges from RM1680 to RM1200.
Shafila is appealing for donations from well-wishers to help her pay the bill as she is just a student.
Orange is a stray cat who had wandered into Shafila’s house when he was injured (probably an accident victim, based on the injuries).
We will help her out with a partial subsidy, and would appreciate it very much if others can chip in as well.
Shafila can be contacted at sha_honey5566@yahoo.com.
If you’d like to help Shafila, please contact her directly.
