Since the authorities have investigated and did not see a need to do anything, all that is left for us to do from here is to collective pray that this lady will release the poor cats so that the rescuers can do the needful and give them a better life.
Here is the story:
A woman in Muar has been caging her cat/s without proper care for quite some time now. After countless visits to advise her, a rescuer has made a complaint to the veterinary dept in kl & they sent a team from Segamat to investigate. But no action was taken as they felt the cat do not have any injuries. Now she has two in one cage.The prob is the cats are caged in a small cage (the RM50 cage). No proper drinking water or food. Even the poo are not cleaned. Earlier the cage was left outside the house with a canvas as a cover under a tree. Every evening the rescuer & her friend will help to feed the cats & clean the poo. Both of them were often scolded when they asked the owner to let go of the cats. If they feed the cats, the immediate family member will tell them not to release the cats. After the investigation the cat/s were put inside the house’s compound which made it difficult for the rescuer & her friend to care for the cats. Often the owner will be away for work for days. They do not know what else to do.I am not asking for much but pray with us for the woman to let go of her cats. If you have any suggestions, pls tell us. BTW this is the owner’s latest “catch”.
