Paralysed kitten in need of a caregiver

Julie Pek’s neighbour rescued a little kitten yesterday after the kitten was bitten by a dog.  The kitten was rushed to the vet’s and it was discovered that both her hind legs are paralysed.  The injury has also apparently affected the kitten’s ability to urinate and defecate on her own.

According to the vet, a caregiver would have to help the kitten by expressing the urine and faeces so that urination and bowel movement can take place daily.  This is done by pressing the abdomen of the kitten.

Julie and her neighbour are now looking for someone to take care of this kitten, preferably someone who is willing to adopt this kitten and look after her.

The kitten has been named “NiceNice”, and she is indeed very sweet.

Is there anyone out there who could please look after me?

I hope this lil' darling finds a home. All is not lost, custom-made wheelchair can give it a 'normal' life. Check this out – http://www.eddieswheels.com/picturegallery6.html

  2. Thanks for the suggestion. I will contact the rescuer, Julie, immediately.

  3. wheels are too big ad cumbersome for cats. they don't do well with it. plus, she is only a little kitten- the wheels will be too heavy. Acupuncture works very well for cats- please do this ASAP
