Clariss was an accident victim, brought in by Mas two weeks ago, with a fractured jaw and broken skull. Her condition looked very critical at that time, but thanks to the vets, she went through surgery and her injuries healed in time. She also had secondary infections and was treated with antibiotics.
Finally, Clariss gets to go home today! I just came back from visiting her, and Mas will be picking her up shortly. The vet took Clariss out of the cage and let her roam freely in a confined area in the clinic. Here she is, settling herself comfortably on a low shelf at the clinic.
A few days ago, Clariss’ face was still slighly distorted, but it certainly looks much better today.
In two months’ time, Clariss would have to come back to get the steel sutures removed from her jaw. Until then, she is as good as can be.
We are very grateful to the vets for saving her life.
Be well, Clariss, and beware of those fast-moving cars, please.
Take good care now.

Million thanks to Auntie Kah Yein and AnimalCare, without their kind and generous sponsorship I would not be here today, big, big thank yous to all the Uncas and Aunties at the clinic who showered me with so much love, also to Unca Raj who had been applying the nice warm compress to my face to increase blood circulation and promote healing, and not forgeting all the kind hearts who had supported me in their prayer.
Shree says I look prettier by the day, and I have my big pretty copper eyes back.
May God bless all of you and long live AnimalCare!
