I met Lai Mei Kueen at the event yesterday and she told me about this poor dog who was involved in an accident. We will subsidise the dog’s treatment. Mei Kueen has also applied to PetFinder.my for funds and if that is approved, we will be jointly subsidising the bill for this dog. The prognosis is poor, so please keep the dog in your prayers.
Mei Kueen works together with a Mdm Ho and they take care of many street dogs.

Dear Dr Chan,Attached are some photos of an accident case and a note from the vet. This dog is now with the vet undergoing treatment and may need further
treatments. Currently the vet had removed the dead skin and the fractured tail. Some of his muscles are tear and he had multiples wounds. The vet
suggested to put the dog to sleep as it will be a very painful process for the dog but we refused. We want to do our best for him. He had a very large
and deep wound at his abdomen part. We are waiting for the progress as the vet are doing daily wound cleaning and he advises that if the dog
can go thru this critical moment , he will check whether the dog has any internal injuries. The vet also advise to amputate the leg as it is very
swollen.We do not know what is the cost like but the vet estimate it will be more rm1000. We would like to apply for the subsidy for the medical fund
for this poor dog. We had also applied to petfinder for funds and is still awaiting for approval.Kindly advise us.
