Urgent: Fosterer needed for injured puppy (Lai Mei Kueen and Mdm Hoo’s)

Dear Dr Chan,

Early this morning received a call from uncle. He saw a puppy injured and can’t walk. He said the injury is quite serious. We told him to send to the

vet immediately. Later we found out the owner threw the puppy out of the car and the poor puppy chased after the owner’s car . The car coming from

behind hit the puppy and went off.

I have not spoken to the vet or taken photos of the puppy. I understand from Mdm Hoo the puppy’s leg is fracture after she called the vet.

Can i appeal for medical fund and update tomorrow when i have the time to go over to the vet?

Pls advise.

Dear Dr Chan,

The poor puppy fractured both legs as it was run-over twice. Nobody helped and the puppy was just left there 2 days shivering with pain, hunger and cold according to the people around there. Uncle saw it and immediately sent to the vet and the vet said it is very weak

and the x-ray showed the stomach is full of sand. The vet discharged the puppy and ask us to take care so that we can give him

some good food. As it is only 2-3 months old  the vet hopes the leg will cure by itself. If the legs are not functioning in a month’s time

then an operation is needed.

The poor puppy don’t only suffered from the fractured leg and it is diagnosed with parvo. The puppy can now be discharged but need to be

separated from other dogs. I hope to get someone to help foster or adopt since we can’t take back. I need someone who can take care of

him since he cannot walk and its so weak. He is a very good boy. Will you be able to put up for help? I will also post in KL Pooch for help to take care of him.

At the same time, can we claim for his medical bill?
