From Ainey:
white pup is active n barked when we opened the door to the isolation ward! she can be discharged. dr edmund said fosterer can have vaccinated dogs, but must separate with this pup, n has to be very careful dealing with pup n other dog(s). area must be cleaned daily (even few times a day) with clorox. even just now, i did not touch the pups, just stood at the doorway, the vets insisted i disinfect my hands immediately. just to be safe, they said. dr edmund even joked that if i dun disinfect, later i touch my dog, sookie, she will kena diarrhea… the brown one just laid in her cage. there was a lot of blood in n outside her cage, it was not a pleasant sight. the vets force fed her n she will purge blood. her eyes are still alert, so that’s a positive sign. the vets are optimistic this brown pup can still pull through. both pups are still on drips. we need names for these 2 pups. i’m thinking eva for the white one…
These two puppies are strong heroines to have come this far. Yes, I wanted to name them this afternoon but was too dead tired to think of names.
Eva for the white one. Lizzie for the brown one.
(after Eva Gabor and Queen Elizabeth)
Lizzie is fighting for her life now. She needs healing energy from all of us.
