his leg is still swollen, n dr liu said this is because of the trauma to the leg earlier on. the swelling will subside eventually. dr edmund said today when they took pjay for a walk, he tried to use his right hind leg (the broken leg) to walk, so this is a good sign. he snapped at me when i tried to pat his head. i ‘scolded’ him, told him ‘who saved him from the highway’, but i dun think he understood me. so next time i’ll have to use food as bribe, with the hope that he’ll be friendlier with me. i asked dr liu if pjay is ok with them, n she said yes. she even patted pjay in front of me, n pjay did not growl. sigh…

I think pjay is starting to show sign of amnesia. haha…
PJay seemed to have accepted Dr. Liu as pack leader but not Ainee, possible PJay came from a home with strong male owner but no so significant human female presence. Like the dog in Temple Grandin's book, Animals In Translation where the husband abused the wife and this had an effect on the dog's preception of the wife in the hierarchy. Don't take it personal, Ainee, don't interprete things in human terms, kay? You did a great job!
Dr Liu is a very small-built female. Smaller than Ainey and me.
PJay recognised the "chilli padi" in Dr. Liu then, hahahhahhaaaa!!!! PJay, be nice to Ainee, boboy (you must get rid of the name "Sui Chai" and become "Hou Chai", kay!!!) Be nice to Auntie KY too! Hahahhahahaaaa!!!!
Maybe PJay remembered the terrible pain caused by the broken leg when Ainee had to pick him up and carry him to the car during the rescue and thought that Ainee also "hurt" him. I can imagine how excrutiating the pain must have felt then, poor boboy! 🙁
