Our volunteer is now at the Kuchai Lama house, and she says there are EIGHT dogs there again.
Yesterday, a friend said there were no more dogs, and we assume someone of authority had done something.
Apparently, according to the neighbour, the owner came to take the dogs yesterday.
He could have released the dogs somewhere because eight of them have now come back to the house. Who opened the gate for them? Well, there is a hole in the fence where they can go in and out from.
Anyway, the fact is there are now eight dogs in the house compound.
Our volunteer went to take back the big pack of food we had bought thinking that there would be no more dogs, so it looks like we have to continue feeding them now.
We can continue feeding them, but for how long?
What we are worried about is in-breeding.
