Wendy still down, Tara goes home

Wendy was still very down.  It pained my heart very much to see her twitching.

Wendy was lying down.  But the vet said the good thing is that she still finishes all her food.  Her appetite gives us hope.  Fight on, Wendy.  Get well soon.
Wendy is still on the drip.
Meanwhile, Tara’s appetite has improved very much, and since she does not have anymore fever, she can be discharged already.  We also have to make way for the disabled puppy with distemper.  I wrote about this puppy last night.  Its two siblings had been forcibly put down by an animal rescuer who insisted that distemper puppies had no hope of recovering.  This is so, so sad.  One would think that a seasoned rescuer would know that distemper is not and should not be a death sentence on any dog, young OR old.
Anyway, Tara could go home!  So, we loaded her into my car, and off we went, from Puchong to Bukit Rimau.  I called my mum, and she was very happy that Tara would be coming home.
Welcome home, Tara!  That’s my little niece patting Tara.
Home sweet home…
Hello?  And you are….oh, it’s Sean!
Tara happily went inside her cage and sat inside.  She seemed very comfortable in it.
But not before saying hi to dad.
Tara still has a slight cough, and is on two oral antibiotics.
Get well soon, Tara.
The vet estimates Tara to be about 3-4 years old, and she has probably given birth a few times.  Tara and Sean have not been spayed-neutered yet.  We can only do the surgeries no sooner than one month’s time, provided they have both recovered well enough.  Sean seems to have!
