Our volunteer was at the scene again this evening, together with Oliver Kua, who is also volunteering to help feed the dogs.
We brought a big pack of dogfood and handed it over to the neighbours.
Apparently, two of the dogs may be injured or ill. This is not surprising if they have been left unattended for two weeks now.
Our volunteer counted a total of 11 dogs.
We have not been able to get any “proper authorities” to help the dogs thus far. So, while we are waiting, we can only continue feeding the dogs.
I have contacted several animal welfare organisations but was told it is out of their jurisdiction. Only a government body has the authority to break in and do the rescue.
We will continue providing food until a solution is found.
