Earlier posting: http://animalcare.my/2010/01/abandoned-dogs-in-kuchai-lama-area.html
The lady who alerted me to this yesterday, Rosalind, went with her friend yesterday to feed the dogs. She writes:
Yesterday my friend (who is also very passionate about animals) and I got 3 packets of food for the dogs. I managed to push in the packets of food beneath the gate and within seconds it was gobbled up by the dogs. There were 7 of them and 2 were chained up.
So far, only one person has responded to yesterday’s posting where I appealed for volunteers who live in the Kuchai Lama area to take turns to feed these poor dogs.
We have been advised to alert DVS, but I called and there was no answer. Meanwhile, can we have more volunteers who could take turn to feed these dogs, please, so that they won’t die a slow and agonising death by starvation and thirst?
It appears that the owners have left the house and left these dogs behind.
If you are able to help, please contact me directly at chankahyein@gmail.com for the location of this house. It is located in Happy Garden.
