Seenu undergoes acupuncture

Sometime back, we brought Seenu, one of the many cats rescued and being looked after by Devi to the vet for treatment for his long-time gum disease.  Unfortunately, western medicine could not do much for him.  Devi, too, has tried with a few vets previously.

So I suggested acupuncture, and Devi was game to try.  AnimalCare is sponsoring the treatment.

Dr Susanna Brida did the first session with Seenu a few days ago, and here’s what she says:

Seenu was such an easy patient. He behaved rather like an “old hand” in acupuncture.

But let’s be realistic. It will take time to get all the “heat” (imbalance focused on the “highest point” of the body – his head) out of him. This is a very chronic problem that persisted a long time – and as a rule of thumb it will take patience and persistence to get rid of such a chronic imbalance.

The good side is that Seenu seems not to suffer from – at least obvious – deeper laying problems. It looks like he has only one problem (though a very painful one, unfortunately).

If I find herbs that can help him I will let you know.

So, let’s hope Seenu is going to respond to acupuncture and/or a herbal formula!

We’ll like to thank Dr Susanna for treating Seenu.

With faith and time, miracles can happen, sometimes.

Tiger’s limp is gone, his blisters have not erupted and he has never been as confident as he is now.  Now, that, was a miracle, to me!  (Western doctors said he would limp for life.)
