Marcus (Denver) and Buttons reunited with owner!

I was in Serdang this morning facilitating a conference when the happy reunion took place first thing in the morning at our panel vet.  Shirley went to the vet’s even before 8am to wait.

Here are the photos taken by my husband:

Shirley approaching the cage…
Marcus, Marcus…
A tearful and very happy reunion.  Even Marcus’ eyes were all red and he was trembling (too excited).
Let’s go home, Marcus!
Shirley and Marcus
Off the happy pair go…home sweet home!
According to Shirley, apparently, the father-dog, Buttons, decided to take the son, Marcus, for a walk, so they bit a hole in the fence and the two went out for their walk, and must have got lost.  I told Shirley she had better secure the fence more stringently to prevent this from happening again.
Later in the afternoon, Buttons was returned by the adopter to Shirley.  Shirley said the first thing Buttons did was to say “hello” to his wife, Rusty, and then he happily went off to sleep.
Shirley helped Rusty (the mother) deliver Marcus and he was born deformed.  But he is coping very well as it is.

This is Father Buttons.  He is 10 years old.
We share Shirley’s joy in this happy reunion.
