Denver, the Shih Tzu – up for adoption

Here’s the Shih Tzu we helped rescue from being euthanised yesterday.

I’ve called him Denver.
Denver is up for adoption, and here’s what you need to know, if you are interested in adopting him:
Denver is estimated to be about 5-6 years old, very possibly a purebred Shih Tzu.  He could have been abandoned  Someone brought him to the shelter and he was to be euthanised.
Denver has deformities in both his hind legs, one side worse off than the other.  He waddles, and cannot walk properly.  His eyes would need natural tears for some time too, as they are very dry.
The vet says Denver is an extremely happy dog, and he thinks he may have been coping with his deformity since birth because he seems to be coping very well.
However, due to his deformed legs, he would probably have to be shaven quite a bit on his lower half or else, he might need to be cleaned up after he urinates and defecates.  This is especially when Denver has such lovely plush long hair.  This calls for some fair share of work each day, in cleaning up Denver.
Denver is in good health, so apart from his deformed legs, there does not seem to be any other problems.
I visited him, and really, he is such a happy little dog.
Right now, we are funding his medical and boarding at the vet’s.  Please help us look for an adopter by forwarding this link.
If interested to adopt him, please call Alice at 012-2717780.
