I know it’s past midnight, but in this kind of work, it just never ends.
I received a very sad email from Ebru’s (the sporo cat) rescuer. She said she was very sorry but she had to release Ebru because her housemates demanded that she did so.
Oh dear….this is really so unexpected. I wish she had informed me before doing that because sporo is deadly and can spread to other cats as well as humans.
To cut a long story short, I spent some time (that’s while driving to the PJ hospital and coming back) explaining the consequences of releasing Ebru back to the environment. And I’ve talked her into getting Ebru back tomorrow morning.
We need to get Ebru a check-up at the vet’s:
1. If Ebru has recovered, we still need to get her spayed before returning her to her former colony.
2. If Ebru has NOT recovered, we cannot release her. We will have to….deal with it then.
Please pray the rescuer can catch Ebru tomorrow.
