The bill for Patches is RM390. We have subsidised RM300 where RM195 is the 50% from our Medical Fund and RM105 is the final balance of the extra funds contributed by Edward Lee, Elaine Chan, Amelia, Peggy Tiong and Sau Yee.

To: Chan Yein <chankahyein@gmail.com>Dear Dr Chan,
We would like to apply for the medical subsidy of this dog which was spayed recently. She must have hurt her wound and we might have overlooked it. There is an opening at the spayed part with all the tissues already showing. We are sending to the vet and needs to be warded in order to clean the wound and monitored. Can we apply?RegardsMei KueenFrom: jaj ajja

To: Chan Kah Yein <chankahyein@gmail.com>Dear Dr Chan,She is Patches spayed a month ago. After spaying we put her with other dogs but we only noticed the wound last week. We are not sure how long has it been opened but checking upon with “Uncle”, who looks after the dogs, he said she might have jumped and played with the rest that caused the opening.Thank you.RegardsMei KueenFrom: jaj ajja

To: Chan Kah Yein <chankahyein@gmail.com>Dear Dr Chan,
Patches need to board at the vet for 2 weeks so that the vet can clean and monitor her wound. There are maggots inside so it needs daily cleansing. It may need stitching later on depending on the progress.
I will keep you update.
Thank you.Regards

Dear Dr Chan,Patches is already back to the shelter. Her condition have improved. The vet cleanse the wound daily and she can be discharged. We had advised Uncle to take special care of her.
I will be sending in her bill soon. Will update with her photo this weekend.
Thank you.
