I received this very heart-warming email from Diane Levinson, all the way from the U.S.
I stumbled upon your blog by accident and I am touched by an animal angel like you. I live in the US and it makes it hard for me to adopt Brownie. If I live in Malaysia I would have adopted him right away. He is a very smart dog. Even with one eye, I can tell he’ll make a loyal companion to a caring and kind owner . Thank you for the kind words. There are many unsung animal rescuers and rehomers out there, just that their work is not documented anywhere. You can read about two of such angels in my book Indy Jones & the Kingdom of the 4 Brahmaviharas. There are many more, too. If more people write/blog about what they do, I believe it would be an inspiration and motivation for others to emulate. Then, there would be more groups involved in animal rescue and protection.
