I just got news that Maxis did not make it through the surgery. He lost too much blood.
We are so sad to hear this.
At least his rescuer gave him a fighting chance. I just text his rescuer – she was with him till his last breath. She is very distraught and sad. I assured her AnimalCare will help with whatever medical costs that need to be settled, if she still needs help.
May Maxis be in a better existence now.
P.S. We really, really hope owners of pets will not neglect their pets until such a state where it is beyond help. When we bring home a pet, the pet trusts us completely and thinks we will love him all his life….because he will love us all his life.

Maxis is in a better place now. Where there are no sorrow and no pain. He is free and happily running the beautiful green meadows of Paradise Valley along with other animals and having a jolly good time.
Truely sad news! I can't forget his sorrow eyes in your earlier posting.
