The happy fundraising at SABS!

Connie and I were off to the Shah Alam Buddhist Society at 8am this morning.

 We set up our booth.

Here’s all our stuff!

 This is Kevin, the person in charge for today.

It’s all thanks to Chiew Leng (photo below), Kevin and the Exco of the society that we were invited to set up this booth in conjunction with my talk today, which coincidentally, touches on the subject of generosity. Very apt!

 Living a life of peace and serenity, that’s the topic for today.

After the talk, the mad sales (by donation) began!

 The keychains were a hit amongst the teenagers.

 The space at the foyer was too crammed, so we moved the tshirts into the meditation hall.

 And it soon turned into a happy “pasar pagi” sort of sales of the tshirts!

We didn’t have enough tshirts for everyone. But our new stock will be coming soon. It got delayed because of the elections.
