It has been two weeks since Norely took over Simba from May Ann. Simba is doing well and will soon go to his forever home! We wish to thank Norely once again for coming forward to foster Simba. You are truly heaven-sent!

To: <chankahyein@gmail.com>Hi There,I thought an update is necessary after almost 2 weeks of fostering Simba. He is doing OK. He still drinks milk from a syringe as he is unable to drink on his own. He eats soft food (3 X a day) but he is such a pig! He doesn’t know how to eat properly yet and he gets very greedy when he sees the food. He doesn’t have the patience to be fed. He will bite you if you take a long time to feed, yes, he is a feisty one! So he just puts his face in the food and opens his mouth and try to get as much food in his mouth. After stuffing his face in the food with occasional licking, he will clean the tiny bowl. Look at the photos of him after eating. We have to wash his face after every meal.Since he doesn’t have a mum, he does not know how to clean himself yet. So every time after potty, we have to wash him. He is already potty trained. I found someone who is willing to take him in. Since Simba likes to suck anything he can get his tiny mouth on (poor kiddo needs a real mummy), I thought he will be better off with this adopter. The adopter has a mummy cat and 4 kittens, so Simba will blend in nicely. I am supposed to send him today but Simba is still having the flu despite being on a long course of antibiotics. So I decided to wait a few days as Simba’s condition is not going to be good for the other kittens. I will send him to the vet again tomorrow for a second dose of deworming as well as for the flu. His eyes have cleared up nicely though.I will update you when I send Simba to his new home next week Friday. Cheers!Ely
