This morning, Joy Saga helped us deliver 5 bags of the Royal Canin catfood to Ms Merriam Samuel @ Molly, in Ipoh. Merriam is 77 years old and works as a clerk at the church. She also does secretarial work for the Ipoh SPCA. We spoke on the phone with Merriam a few days ago too.
Merriam feeds about 35 cats and 8 dogs around her neighbourhood and at the market. The costs of the medical treatment for these animals are sponsored by a vet in Ipoh, but Merriam purchases the petfood on her own. All the animals under her care are neutered.
Here are some photos taken by Joy when she helped us deliver the catfood today. Thank you very much, Joy!

Oh, these are my books for the Ipoh SPCA’s adoption drive in September.
The neighbourhood community cats and dogs are most welcomed into her home. Merriam lives alone.
If we ever get donated dogfood, we will definitely send some down for you…
