We have subsidised a total of RM376.65 for Miki and Xiao Bai. The breakdown is below. This subsidy comes from the AnimalCare Donors (RM176.65) and Berjaya Cares (RM200).
The breakdown below is based on the items in the receipt (it differs slightly from the estimate given by Kimberly in her email):
Miki: RM25 for vaccination.
Miki: Medical bill: RM327.30 (excluding Frontline, shampoo and e-collar; but we have subsidised the hospitalisation as it involves surgery). Our subsidy is RM163.65.
Xiao Bai: RM150 for neutering; RM25 for vaccination.
Xiao Bai: Other medical treatment: RM26 (excluding Frontline and boarding). Our subsidy is RM13.

To: “chankahyein@gmail.com” <chankahyein@gmail.com>Dear Dr Chan,I’m Ong Bee Kin rescued 2 puppies as attached. I read about Animal Care through internet.The black puppy named as Miki was found in Klang, Selangor. Estimated age around 2 months old, her left eye was poked by sharp material. Found her when she came into my friend’s house through the automatic gate to look for leftover food from other dog’s bowl. Besides suffered with the eye problem, she is having severe skin problem and fleas.The white puppy named as Xiao Bai was found at one of the restaurant beside Shell Station, Kapar Klang. Estimated age around 6 months old. Her mother is rear by one of the shop next to the restaurant yet the owner refuse to rear this little puppy and abandoned her at the street. Her neck was bitten by stray cats, leg was knocked by a car and facing some skin problem.
Both puppies was sent to the vet. The vet has performed surgery on Miki and removed her left eye. Still under medication for the skin and 1st vaccine injected on 27/9/2013. Meanwhile white puppy sent to the clinic on 26th Sept 13 and stabilizing her current condition before Dr perform neutering and 1st vaccination on coming Mon,30th Sept 13.
The cost of surgery for Miki is RM241.30 exclude E-Collar, Foods and Hospitalization which is on 20th Sept 2013. On 27th Sept, first vaccine and medication exclude shampoo is RM55.00.
Estimated cost for Xiao Bai is RM350.00 exclude boarding.
Looking forward for partial support from the association in order to carry on rescue work.

Need to wipe her eye daily, 1st vaccine injected on 27th September. Going back to follow up on 18th October for 2nd vaccine.Good appetite, very active puppy. Slightly afraid of strangers, will hide in her cage when she see strangers. Predicted is because hurt by human being before, no problem to mix along with other dogs. Currently foster by a lady in Kajang, going to adopt her next month.Thank you

Dear Dr Chan,Attached with latest photos for Xiao Bai.The vet dewormed and bath her on 27th September and 1st vaccine injected today.Spaying or neuter on 7th October. Having some skin problem, keep scratching and feel itchy. Dr Grace is giving her fish oil and vitamin. Active puppy, a bit choosy on food. Refuse to eat canned food or biscuit. Cooked and bring to vet for her daily.
Will adopt her once she discharge from vet.
