Human cruelty knows no bounds.
SARAJEVO — Two intoxicated youths duct-taped a firework in a German shepherd’s mouth and blew off his face. But the torture didn’t stop there. The poor dog, known as Vucko, wandered for five days, unable to eat and with maggots infecting the meaty pulp of his ruined face. Vucko was finally picked up by authorities and euthanized after vets were unable to perform reconstructive surgery.
Here is EXTREMELY GRAPHIC footage of Vucko being examined by vets. Notice the firework’s shell casing still embedded in the dog’s head.
We must bring the animal abusers to justice and ensure that this inhumanity is never repeated. Sign this petition to urge Bosnian authorities to hunt down the guilty parties and expose the severity of animal abuse. Don’t let Vucko die in vain!

I just don’t understand why there must be this type of sick people walking on earth and what do they derive from their stupid action!
The same thing happened near San Jose, California, USA in +- 1992. Those young adults who did that to the cat (it was just before Halloween, a black cat) were children of rich, well educated and Silicon Valley professional parents. People were shocked. Why?
Parents should take responsibilities to raise responsible citizens.
To stop cruelties to animal does not stop at just spaying them. FIRST MOST, parents have to take responsibilities to tell their kids right and wrong. We were all ONE TIME in our life a kid. And our parents made the difference of who we are today.

Signed the petition a few days ago. People can be that cruel to animals …esp when drunk. That is why one of the 5 precepts is : Do not take intoxicants. Being intoxicated makes people do unwise action that hurts/ cause pain to other beings. Many treat animals cruelly because they think they can get away without facing the consequences of their act.

You should not squarely put the blame on parents when children misbehave or perform evil actions.
I have seen very good parents with rotten children. And I have also seen good children with rotten parents.
Every child that comes into this world comes along with his/her own past kamma. These past kamma influences the life of a child. So you can be the best parent in the whole world but if your child came with some very bad kamma from his/her previous lives, he/she can still commit heinous crimes.
You can only guide your children and lead them by examples and hope that they will grow up to be good adults. But you cannot be held responsible for their actions when they grow up. The influence of friends, societies can be much much stronger than a parental influence. A parent will never ask her child to take drug but the influence and pressure from friends can turn your child into a drug addict.
From the report, these two youths were under the influence of some kind of drug or alcohol when they performed the heinous act on the poor dog. Would you take the blame if one of them happens to be your child?

God, forgive me that I can’t forgive those evil had done that to the dog!
Makes me ashamed that I am from the same breed of “animal” that did this sickening act. When they catch them they should do you same to them, I would gladly volunteer to do it to them
Its sick. Anyone that can do something like that to a dumb animal needs removing from society. Lock them up and genuinely throw away the key.
People who can hurt innocent animals like this shouldn’t deserve to have anything in their life, they should be locked up and stay locked up until they truly know what it is like to not have anything or anyone in the world that cares. Only then will they know what it is like to be a poor animal without a home and someone to love them.
i am totally disgusted with what these kids did to this poor dog i believe that what was done to this dog should be done to them to feel the pain this poor animal suffered though i believe that there should be tougher laws that if you abuse torture animals that the punishment should be equal to if it was a human so please push for new laws we need to end abuse and cruelty to all animals and humans im a animal lover and this is sad that this is how some treat our animals they will pay for this someday garrenty pray for those poor creauters and get involuded to help all animals
