Medical subsidy for 6 cats (Maslinda Abd Talib’s)

We have subsidised RM73 for the treatment for 4 kittens. This subsidy comes from the AnimalCare Donors (RM33) and Berjaya Cares (RM40).

Our subsidy are as follows:

Oten : RM18 (wound treatment and medication)
3 kittens RM7.50 (deworming)
Muffy: RM27.50 (vaccination, deworming)
Momo: RM20 (medication)

Momo:

Momo is already FIV+ . In May this year, she had brain infection problem which caused her to be almost paralyzed. with antibiotic and TF, she got better.

These last 2 weeks, she had good appetite and getting better and almost like when she is active, accept that she is still little bit skinny than before get brain infection. her tummy do looks bigger than usual but since lately she has good appetite, i thought it was just because of that.

but on 3rd dec i think her tummy looks quite weird, hence i brought her to vet.

The vet said her stomach has fluid. the vet able to aspirate some, it;s little bit yellowish. initial test of the sample shows that a possibility of FIP

For that, she’s prescribed with prednisolone.

I’ve disinfect the whole house/litters/carriers etc.momo is now taken care by a friend of mine (no other cats in her house). i currently also use TF in the treatment plan.

Oten

 

Oten has an abscess on the neck. the pus have been removed. he’s prescribed with antibiotice and anti inflammation plus daily dressing (at home)

3 kittens

 

newly rescued from middle of the road in puchong. 2 of them are skinny and shows sign of slight dehydration. another one is slightly bigger, so not sure whether are the 3 siblings or not

vet gave them some mutivitamins. no health issues. kittens dewormed. at home, they are eating well.
