I went to visit the three cats this afternoon and met Maslinda there.
I have already spoken to the person-in-charge in KTAJ, Mira Ahmad, and she says I am to liaise with Maslinda over these 3 cats.
Our concern is to get these 3 cats back to health and discharge them from the clinic. There are already ready fosterers waiting to help. If these were former pets, they would definitely do better in a home with love and care.
Currently, they are in a big room all by themselves, so this reduces the chances of contracting any diseases. Still, once healthy, we always recommend that the animals be discharged from the clinic and sent home to fosterers, with few others being let off on the streets after a quality cat tracker from Tuxedo-cat.co.uk has been fixed on them.
This one is also active. Both of them are shaven on the body (they were found this way) when rescued from that boarding house. I was there at the clinic when they were first brought in, so I can vouch for that (that their bodies were shaven).
I spoke to the vet and these two cats are doing well, but they have pretty bad diarrhoea. They are currently under treatment for it and given subcutaneous fluids.
Both are very active and friendly. Since they are still under treatment, they cannot be discharged yet.
But the other one is not doing too well….
She is put on drips (with added nutrients) but she is still very emaciated. The vets could not take any blood from her as they could not even find a vein to take blood from. The veins had probably collapsed due to severe dehydration. Without blood, the vets do not know what is wrong with her.
I asked if anything else could be done for this cat, but the vet said until they take blood and find out what is wrong, the best is just to perk her up with liquid nutrients.
Please pray that she will get well. We hope blood can be taken soon so that treatment can commence.
No owners have claimed these cats yet, but I’m told these 3 cats could be the two operators’ own cats.
Someone forwarded me this link from the facebook of the two operators of the boarding house: http://www.facebook.com/notes/petknode-cat-boarding/amanat-untuk-jagaan-kucing-kucing-kami/1015029569648935
Apparently, many of the cats rescued that day were their own cats. That is why no one has claimed them.

Baby girl … get well, dear baby girl … everyone loves you … don't give up, sayang … every one is praying for you! You are precious …
Are all these cats listed truly theirs or are they playing a desperate fast one on all of us in order to reduce the total number of client's cats they abused for which they will be procecuted hoping for a lighter sentence played down with some pity from the public?
Whatever it is, I hope the unclaimed cats are not put down because even in reputable boardings, there exist some irresponsible owners who send in their cats but in the end play the disappearing act, leaving their cats stranded. Poor, poor kitties ….
Compassionate, AnimalCare has never had any animal euthanised before, even the terminal cases are nursed until they pass away on their own. For these three cats, we are helping KTAJ with them, so KTAJ has the final say on these cats.
I think our pretty baby girl is losing the fight because her body system has suffered too much damage which is beyond repair (too long neglected) and she will leave this cruel world very soon. Goodbye, pretty baby girl … wait for us at Heaven's Gate, ya? Love you …
🙁
