I know for a fact that these things happen because it happened to a friend. She and her husband had an arowana fish that was particularly closed to him. It swam actively whenever it saw her husband. Then they went to perform haj. After a week the fish refused to eat and it died eventually. It seemed strange but i’m pretty sure the fish died heartbroken.
