What is the world coming to? And what would humans resort to next, all for the sake of raking in more money by victimising the weak and defenseless?
You know how it is that we are usually about 30 years behind the West in “catching up” with what they do (which isn’t necessary, really, but that’s the way of the world due to colonisation).
I can only hope that pet thefts will not develop into a crime here.

Unfortunately i believe that such thefts have been occurring in Malaysia. Friends have mentioned that dogs which resemble particular breeds have been caught and stolen from within house premises itself.
Plus, there is a growing concern about dog catchers catching dogs with licenses and demanding 'ransom' or payments, in housing areas AFTER their working hours, for the return of the dogs to their owners.
I strongly urge pet owners EVERYWHERE to be aware of this and take action to protect their pets from these people.
Yes, you are right about what dog catchers do. I've heard about this as well. We need to be vigilant and may have to even keep our pets (especially dogs) indoors when we are out.
