We have fully sponsored RM200 for the spaying of Nini and Mok. According to the receipt, the cost for the neutering is exactly RM200 (not RM400), so we have sponsored in full.

To: chankahyein@gmail.comDear Dr Chan,My name is Fatimatuzzahara Zulkifley and I am a final year student in UIA, Kuantan. I rented a house in a new neighborhood in Kuantan, Pahang. I was surprised to find so many feral and semi feral cats in my neighborhood although its only just over 1 year and half since people moved in. Seeing so many cats that have no proper home and begging for foods from door to door, I have decided to adopt some of them. This is my short story about how I first met Nini and her family.
I have recently [around 3 months ago], rescued a heavily pregnant Nini.
At first Nini just came to my house asking for foods, and later around 2 weeks afterward she gave birth to 3 kittens in my lawn, inside a box that I prepared for her. I took care of her throughout the post partum period and I started to feel attach to her and her kittens. So I decided to adopt her along with her 3 kittens named Whitey, Messy and Toby.Not along after that, another small kitten around 4 weeks old, came to my house crying for food. At first I thought the kitten was somehow separated from her mother and hence I put her in a cage along with Nini and her kittens. I called her Kutu as she was full of fleeces when I found her. Although Nini hissed a lot to the new comer, she slowly accepted Kutu and adopted her as a new daughter.
Then 3 days afterward, Kutu’s mother [Mok} along with another kitten, came to my house. As I suspected, Mok actually came from the same semi feral cats colony as Nini and I think she has been searching for Kutu for days. When she came to my house, she immediately recognized her own’s daughter Kutu and hence they have a happy reunion. She has ever since find shelter in my house. Now, out of sudden I have 7 stray cat under my care. Nini and her 3 kittens, and Mok with her 2 kittens.
It was a big relief as they got along with each other very well. Messy, Toby and Whitey are now 10 weeks old, and Kutu and her sister, which I called Senget, are now around 8 weeks old. And I’m planning to adopt all the 7 cats. And at the moment I’m applying for subsidy for neutering Nini and Mok.
I sent Nini for neuter on 26th December [Friday] and I just sent Mok for neuter on [29th December [Monday]. It had cost me around RM 400 for neutering this two cats which I found quite costly for me as a student. The subsidy will helps me to reduce cost in looking after these cats and you can help me to give them the best care that I can afford. I have also sent the form and original receipt yesterday via post. I sincerely hope you will consider my application and with that I thank you for doing a good job in caring for these unfortunate animals.
