Please be informed that the intergiro bank transfer fee of 10 sen has been increased to 11 sen as of today.
A message from the bank this morning when I made a payment:
A service charge of RM0.10 and Goods and Services Tax (“GST”) of RM0.01 (6% of RM0.10 service charge) will be levied on every IBG transaction performed regardless of the transaction being accepted or rejected at the Beneficiary Bank.
The 0.6 sen has been rounded up to 1 sen, so it comes up to 10%.
This will also affect the subsidy amount you will receive. As per stated on our form and has been our practice all this while, we are unable to absorb the bank fees because we pay out many, many subsidies in a month.
