An excerpt of the story:
We are delighted that Little Ricky has found his forever home! Ricky was rescued from the hands of a butcher by HSI at a Yulin slaughterhouse during our undercover investigation and brought back to the U.S. to serve as an ambassador for the cruel dog meat trade. We wish Ricky the best in his new home!
Have a great life, Ricky!! And bless his new family for adopting him!
Yulin was a terrible ordeal for the poor dogs and cats. Festivities that stem from the greed for sensual pleasures and a lack of compassion for others is a sad thing. Change begins with us. But it cannot stop there. It has to spread and that’s where we can make an effort and make a difference.
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed [people] can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.” – Margaret Mead
So we continue to share, to persuade and to be an example. Humans are the only ones who can speak up against other humans’ atrocities to the animals.
Now, 2 million feral cats’ lives are hanging by the thread in Australia. Let’s please speak up for them too: http://www.care2.com/causes/australia-plans-to-kill-2-million-feral-cats.html
And there will always be animals to save, folks. Such is this worldly, earthly imperfect life. So, let’s all do what we can, as much good as we can, as long as we can.
