Nursing mother-cat needed in Kedah

A box of 4 kittens had been found abandoned in Kedah (I don’t know which town), and the rescuer needs a mother-cat.

    If a mother cat can't be found, don't worry.

    It's a little time consuming but it's quite easy to nurse little kitties. Kitty baby bottles & kitty baby milk! Feed every 4 hour to 6 hours. Yes, you will need to wake up in the middle of the night to feed for at least a month or so, depending on the age of the kitty. Hold the bottle in a position like a feeding mother cat. As they get older, use a towel to wrap the bottle as the little kitties will "push" with their front legs as if feeding from a mother cat. Keep kitties warm ALWAYS with clean towels. Get ready lots of clean towels.

    It can be done. Many years ago, I found a dumped newborn kitty with its eyes not yet open. I thought it would die for sure. Thank god for the wonderful vet who assured me that with TLC it would survive and equipped me with the feeding bottle and milk. I had her with me constantly for 3 months at work and night school. Yup, everyone thought I was a confirmed nut case when they saw I actually had a little kitty in a shopping bag and I was feeding the little one so often at work and at school, lol.

    Issabelle grew up beautiful, with a love to travel every where with me but never quite understood she was a cat ^.^

    I miss her.

    Hi Huey. Hope all goes well.

    It may be a little tiring to have to handle 4 kitties. It took me close to 15 to 30 minutes per session of feeding Issabelle. So, with 4, it would be like 2 to 3 hours till the next round of feeding if the kitties are very young. But at the end of the day, it's all worthwhile when you look back one day to see how beautiful the little kitties have grown.

    Coax the little kitties by stroking them as they feed. As they grow a little older, use damp tissue to clean them up after the do their biz.

    When in doubt, think what a mother cat would do, and one wont go wrong ^.^
