Dear Dr. Chan,

Kindly find the short write-up about the cat as below :

Omju was born with her brother in June 2016 at the back street in Shah Alam. It was named Omju (Ompok Junior) because the mother was a white color with ginger and black spots cat which we call Ompok (Spots in Malay; original word Tompok).
Ompok was previously owned by a family in but the children of the house used to beat and scold her, and suddenly we saw Ompok being dumped in the back streets. Me and my other 3 sisters are animal lovers so we feed stray cats and dogs every day. Noticing that Ompok was dumped by the family, we rescued her and took her to the vet to be neutered but she was already pregnant.
Hence, 3 months after giving birth we took Ompok for neutering. And last February we took Omju for the same procedure.
Now Omju and her family live in the street behind our house together with other stray cats, where they are free to explore in the day and kept in our little shelter (3 tier cage) during the night to keep them safe from wild dogs which have killed many stray cats in the residential area.
We hope to rescue and help more stray animals in the future.

My sisters:

  • Farrah Hanim Binti Salleh
  • Nurul Nabila Binti Salleh
  • Nurul Nabiha Binti Salleh

We personally thank Dr. Chan and the organisation for making such great efforts in helping the strays. We hope to be like you in soon.

Thanks & regards,
Farrah
