To: Chan Kah Yein <chankahyein@gmail.com>Dear Dr. Chan,Here is a quick update of today’s vet visit. I have attached several pictures for you to view.Spora is doing pretty well, the doctor said that she did not expect the sporo wound to heal this quick. She also mentioned that Spora will most likely need another month of Itraconazole.
Nonetheless, Spora still have the flu despite being on medication for almost a month now. A few days ago, Spora looked like she has beaten the flu, but it came back again.
Also, we discovered three fungal spots along Spora’s backbone, this is not a sporo lesion wounds. It is unusual as Spora is already on Sporanox/Itraconazole. For this, the doctor has prescribed Transfer Factor, replacing Vetri DMG.In addition to that, Spora has some ear mites issue, thus the doctor prescribed ear ointment to be applied once a day. I will need to clean Spora’s ears before applying this.
As for Spora’s kittens, they have been sick on and off, and have been putting on some serious weight. Only two kittens are mildly ill, having sneezes once in awhile. They are separated from the healthy ones and is on medication. I have found an adopter for one of the kittens, the picture that I have attached. I will continue to find adopters for the remaining kittens. That is all for my update, thank you and take care!Regards.Muhammad Shafiq bin Abu Bakar![]()
