This is a 13 year old dog. He is probably of mixed breed. The poor thing was brought into a clinic by his owner to be euthanised because the owner is moving home.
Let’s not comment on the owner right now, because we have to do the needful. The owner does not want him anymore.
We are looking for a fosterer or adopter for this elderly dog.
I’ve just visited him – he is not aggressive at all. Very docile. He is healthy, too. It’s just that he is an old dog.
Please help pass the word around for a fosterer or adopter.
A “senior citizen” who has been a pet all his life does not deserve to be euthanised just because he is old. Even the vet has no heart to euthanise him because according to the vet, he is active and healthy. There is absolutely nothing wrong with him.
Just old, that’s all.

what goes ard comes ard… hope when their kids grow up.. buy or move to a new house.. send the old parents to old foks home!! this are the people that will send their parents to old folks home as well!!
How i wish my smarty can live til tis age but he was taken earlier at the age of 9 yrs plus due to kidney failure and bladder stones… Tis poor fella deserve a better life ahead than to put to sleep as he is stil healthy and active….
The owner's action is preposterous!!! Yes, what goes around comes around…. Imagine the poor dog who has been faithful to him and his loved ones for the past umpteen years and only to be euthanised because of its age… Animal has the right to live too!!!
