Meet Terry and Milo

Hi everyone.  This is Terry Saw holding Milo, the little kitten rescued by the university student, Amelia.
Terry wrote to me a few days ago, offering to be a volunteer for AnimalCare.
I certainly appreciate his kind gesture, as I have been running around (like a frilled lizard!) doing all this work, mostly all by myself.  It’s not easy when I work in the mornings till afternoon, and right after that, it’s almost running non-stop.  And come evenings, it’s answering the emails for the day, and reporting the day’s events (and there IS something to report every day, too!).
You have no idea how many emails I receive in a day – which is most welcome, because it shows people are interested to participate in CNRM or to help.  But every email has to be answered, so that takes time.
So, welcome board AnimalCare, Terry, and THANKS for offering to be a volunteer.
Terry’s first “task” is to foster Milo.
Milo had a bit of diarrhoea today, but Amelia had already brought him to be dewormed yesterday.
We did a medical check-up for Milo under our vet today, and she administered an anti-diarrhoea jab for him.
Otherwise, Milo seems fine and dandy, running around very happily.
Terry is an independent pet rescuer and does pretty much the same thing as we do too.  He rescues and fosters dog and cats.  It’s great that we join forces and work together.
Together, we can definitely do more, especially when the focus and mission are the same.
If you can do the running around (ferrying animals, etc.), accompanying them to the vet, and you’d like to volunteer your time and energy to help us, please let me know.
We are also badly in need of fosterers, so if you are the sit-home type, how about learning to look after kittens and puppies?  They can be such a joy.  And you are doing a great service to the most down-trodden beings – how much nobler can you get, yah?
Meanwhile, here’s a close-up of Milo.  Milo is up for adoption.  He is about 2 months old and really adorable.
Milo has been adopted.

Hi, this is Amelia. I kept Milo (or as we called him Nana) for about a week.
Its so good to see Milo happy. He is the cutest and sweetest kitty you could find, and he is very loving. Our basic manja-pot. He absolutely loves to just be around people.
He has brightened some gloomy days for my house mates & I.
I hope someone gives him a good new home.
