Dino aka Milo adopted!

Iskandar, who hails from Ipoh, adopted a kitten from us some months back.  Yesterday, he called to ask if Dino aka Milo is still available.  At that time, Dino had been booked by a lady, so I said no.

Last night, the lady text to say she cannot adopt Dino anymore because a family member has asthma.  So, it looked like Dino was meant to be with Iskandar, after all.

I quickly text some messages to Iskandar and Terry (who is fostering Dino) and arrangements were made for the viewing this afternoon.

Love at first sight!
Iskandar was instantly charmed by Dino.  He said Dino reminded him of his first cat who had passed away recently due to some unexplained neurological ailment.
Terry said Dino had some “sixth sense” and didn’t feel like eating this morning.  He has been with Terry for about two weeks now, and that’s when the attachment and bonding firms up.
Tell me about it, folks…I know.  That’s why I have nine cats with me.  After two weeks, it becomes so difficult to give them up.
Dino looked sad also, to part with Terry.  So we told Dino he would be in good hands with Iskandar.  Iskandar clearly loves him a lot.
Before we parted, Terry spent a few quiet moments with little Dino, telling him to be a good boy.
You be good now, you hear?
I was holding back my tears.  I know what it’s like…
Fostering pets is a very intense experience.  You shower them with so much love, and then it’s time to let go when you find them a good home.
I’m a hopeless fosterer…
Iskandar’s first pet from us is called Kechik, and Kechik is pampered to the core.  He sleeps with Iskandar, and Iskandar even brings him down to KL whenever he comes down for work.
P.S.  I just text Iskandar and they have arrived in Ipoh, safe and sound.  And Iskandar wrote to say that Kechik loves Dino, like a brother.  Aww…isn’t that sweet?
May they all be happy and have lots of fun together.

    Amelia here…

    Thanks for the update.
Am glad Nana@Milo@Dino has found a good new home.

Terry, I know the feeling. I miss him a lot too. Especially since he used to curl up with us to sleep and he really brightened our gloomy days. Its not easy letting go… especially someone special like him.

All the best to Iskandar. Am sure you'll enjoy Nana@Milo@Dino. Take care of our baby !!!
