Good morning everyone.
First, thank you to everyone who has written me comforting emails over the loss of Vixey. Thanks for all your sharing. My tears flow freely when I read your emails, but the heart is comforted after that. I am very grateful for all the empathy.
Here’s some updates on what we will be doing for the next few days.
1. Our tshirts are finally ready! One batch arrived yesterday at the bookshop, but I haven’t seen it yet because I was not told about it. Another batch is expected to arrive this afternoon. I will be packing the postal orders today, and sending them off. For those who have arranged for collection from me, I will be writing to you personally to arrange for a suitable time and place for collection. To all who have placed orders, thank you very much for your generous support.
2. We are manning a booth on 10th Oct (that’s this Saturday), starting at 7.30pm, until the afternoon of 11th Oct (Sunday) at the Subang Jaya Buddhist Association in conjunction with the Kathina celebrations. Our tshirts will be on display and on sale, so if you’d like to see the sizes for yourself, please come visit our booth. We will also be raising funds for AnimalCare as well as the reprint of Pawprints on My Heart. Right now, I have no volunteers for the evening of 10th Oct, so if you can help out, please contact me.
3. Teresa, our OKR representative, has arranged for eight factory dogs to be neutered at our panel vet this morning, under our sponsorship. Save a Stray Bhd (SAS) is lending cages to facilitate the transport of these dogs to the clinic, and I have just been told that they are calling in two Chinese press (Nanyang and Sin Chew) to cover this operation. I have no idea why this press coverage is necessary. Our concern is to get the animals neutered and this is something we do on a very regular basis.
4. Terry and I will be bringing a cat with a stubborn non-healing injury to see the vet today. It is one of Rani’s stray cats. If you remember, she is the one with the stubborn leg injury that has refused to heal. We sponsored her spaying some time ago, and a man had offered to adopt her, but that did not materialise.
5. Tina Tan, the kind lady who will be adopting Abby (remember her? The 13 year-old abandoned dog?) is back from overseas and will be meeting up with Abby and Alicia this weekend. She wants to introduce her dog, XiXi, to Abby. We are arranging for a first meeting on neutral ground.
6. Sunway Lagoon Club has invited us to open a booth on 1st November at their Sunday Flea Market. We are very grateful for this kind invitation. More details later.
I’d also like to thank those who have written to me to offer their assistance as volunteers. If you’d like to help out in the events above, please contact me. There is always something you can do to help us, and you know best what you’d like to do, so do please write to me.
Have a great day, and let’s lend a hand to the needy ones.

Hi KahYein,
Just a question.
My parter and i have been involving in cat rehoming/rescuing on our own for sometime.
The thread:

I have this stray kitten at home and haven't get adopter yet. (this color always difficult to get adopter)
Now it's time for neutering since he is growing as a 6-7moth old kitten. Can i know is it possible to get to neuter him at animalcare panel vet? (also for the rest of the stray if we rescue in the future.)
Thank you.
