The three cats/kittens who are currently being fostered by Terry were brought for a check-up today, right after Ebru’s.
Here they are – in the bottom cage is mama Gold who had been spayed six days ago. On top are Braveheart and Courage (the whiter one).
Terry was concerned if Gold might have what killed her daughter, Goldie. Braveheart also appeared to be rather thin, although she eats very well at home.
So, our vet checked, and Gold and Courage were in good order.
Braveheart, however, may have some problems. A urine test revealed that there is the presence of some protein (though not an alarming amount) and this could indicate some kidney problems.
But then again, it could be other things as well.
Braveheart was given Doxy and B-complex, and Terry will bring her back after 10 days or so to have her weight checked. If she loses weight, more tests would have to be carried out.
