Faris rescued the dog at midnight last night, and brought her to our volunteer, Mandy’s house.
According to Mandy, the dog can stand, but cannot walk. We won’t know what is wrong until a vet examines her this morning.
Mandy will be bringing the dog to the vet’s as soon as the clinic opens. We will help raise funds for the medical treatment.
We again salute Faris for rising to the occasion and doing the needful. We definitely need a lot of people with his compassion.
Updates and photos later.

kudos to faris for helping the dog eventhough he's a muslim…
as a muslim myself, i am often ostracized for trying to help dogs (eventhough they are God's creatures too).
i hope we would see more muslims like faris who is willing to help any animals including dogs.
p/s: thank you to everyone also for helping animals ๐
Come on we give a clap to Faris…. Keep it up.. and honestly said most Malaysian Muslims do not like dogs and even scold me when I walk my dog along the road side. My dog is well toilet train, it will only do his "business" at home. It will rush to the toilet when reach home after for a walk… Believe it or not?
When I hear about broadminded Muslims like Faris, I think there is hope for Malaysia.
My Malay friends tell me that it is a Malay Muslim thing to dislike dogs – it is not Islamic because dogs are God's creatures and The Prophet himself had dogs.
Even the Taliban like dogs http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1237491/Miracle-return-bomb-sniffing-dog-adopted-Taliban-leader-tried-sell-Australian-owners.html Hilarious!
Hey!Thank u so much guys ๐
In that situation,I have to do what I have to do right?
Kinda agree with the mentality. But I dont mind.As long as I know that i do the very right thing,Im happy. And the most important is,the dog is happy
