Updates from Oliver, another dog-angel

I put up this posting two days ago: http://animalcare.my/2010/01/family-of-dogs-living-in-abandoned.html

Oliver has been feeding this entire family every day, and today, he managed to catch the injured puppy and take her to a vet for treatment.

Here’s news and photos from Oliver:

Today was very lucky for me, i was able to catch the injured puppy and bring it over to the vet.

The vet told me that the puppy may have fallen or accidently cut on a sharp object while playing. It was lucky the wound been treated earlier if the wound is left untreated maggots will appear.

The vet have dewormed and cleaned up the wound and bandaged it and told me to bring the puppy over to the clinic on this coming friday for some minor operation. The minor operation is to remove some excessive flesh and to stich up the wound so that it will recover faster.

But the real good news is the puppy was tested negative for distemper and parvo virus. Overall the puppy was in great health.

The puppy is whining and sometime a bit of howling as if to me it was calling for its mother and her sibling.

Temporary i will be fostering this puppy until it recover and hopefully there is someone is willing to adopt her, As i’m staying in an apartment and i’m having my own dog with me, i’m worried my neighbour will start to complain.

Please help us look for homes for these puppies, and the mother.

  1. Their innocent looks just made me melt … big time … – I wish I can help but I am already very bogged down with 12 indoor cats and feeding stray cats outside my house ..

God bless and protect them …
