It never rains, but it pours.
I received a call from our panel vet in Puchong today informing me that Wendy had developed tick fever now. This explains why she became very weak as of yesterday.
After half an hour another call came from the vet. Tara too has tick fever.
Now, both of them are being treated for tick fever AND distemper.
Poor things. But they both stand a chance at recovering.

A brief report from Ainey, from last night’s visit:
Dr Liu said Wendy is not doing too good yesterday… she lost her appetite and her movements seem uncoordinated… I spoke to Wendy a bit, told her to get well soon, and that we are all rooting for her recovery… I kept on patting her head while talking to her, and she seemed to like that… After a while, Wendy decided to take two bites of her food and then lost interest again… The vet will monitor Wendy’s condition today…
Tara, on the other hand, is doing good… she polished the food that Pravinn brought earlier in the afternoon… Tara can be discharged this Friday…
Please send positive healing energy to Tara and Wendy. They have made it thus far. They need a boost from all of us now.
