It looks like those people did it again….
As we were travelling up to Raub this morning, I received news from our volunteer that the authorities had gone in and euthanised many of the dogs at the Klang Dog Pound on Monday, in preparation for YB Charles Santiago’s visit on Wednesday. This morning, there were only FIVE healthy-looking dogs in each enclosure, and they were all given clean water and an abundance of kibbles.
The pound has also been cleaned up, spic and span.
Photography is now banned in the pound.
Our volunteer was also told that the officer in charge is badmouthing “the people who spread stories in the internet” about the condition of the pound.
So, the evidence has already been removed from the eyes of YB Charles Santiago when he visits on Wednesday.
Would old photographs do?
If so, here they are:

And I was also informed that there was no dialogue held at the MPK Auditorium at 4pm today. What is going on now?
Sigh…
I am glad we did not waste our time travelling up to Klang for this “dialogue” which never happened.
We spent our time doing something useful in Kampung Chamang, helping worthy humans and worthy dogs. Read on, please…
As for tomorrow’s planned visit by YB Charles Santiago – I don’t know if that’s still on now that the evidence has been completely wiped out.
It would be best to take a look at the updates at MDDB’s blog on what had actually happened and what is going to happen tomorrow.
It’s always the human factor that makes life difficult.

One response to “It was too late…(sigh)”
What happened, KY? Well, I guess the same things that happened at DBKL and Setapak when things got exposed. Things like, "Who let the outsiders in? Shut the door, put out the lights, put up high fences and tinted glass, all outsiders out, no peeping, no entry!"
