This morning, five of us will be going up to help in the spay-neuter campaign in Kampung Chamang (between Bentong and Raub), for Kwai Chee’s and Meiji’s dogs. This campaign has been planned weeks ago, and all arrangements have already been made with PAWS.
In a way, it is a bit of a case of “bad timing” because things are happening at the MPK Dog Pound today and tomorrow. Please update yourselves by logging onto MDDB’s website: http://malaysiandogsdeservebetter.blogspot.com/
19th Jan, 4pm – MPK Auditorium
20th Jan, 11am – MPK Dog Pound
We need everyone’s support to help push for reforms at the MPK Dog Pound.
Please help lobby for better treatment of the Klang dogs.
Please let us work together on this.
Every voice counts.
3. Neutered stray dogs and cats (indicated by the left ear tip) should not be captured anymore.
4. Dogs with licenses should be spared from being held captive at the pound. The owners can be traced through the licenses.
5. Isolation of healthy dogs from the sick ones at the pound so that diseases will not spread.
6. Proper food for the dogs at the pound on a daily basis.

7. Pregnant dogs should be released immediately. Pregnant dogs should not be allowed to deliver their puppies at the pound in view of the dirty conditions at the pound.
