Our other wards

After Wendy’s reiki session, I went downstairs to feed Pjay.  Pjay seems ok, but is still not using his injured (repaired) leg.  Sweetie was incredibly excited to see me (I wish I could take her out!) but she is still having diarrhoea so I was not allowed to feed her any of the chicken at all.

Poor Sweetie could only watch Pjay polish up two helpings of chicken.

Since I had cooked a lot today, I fed Legacy as well.  Legacy is someone else’s rescued dog, and is undergoing acupuncture by Dr Susanna.

Pjay (with e-collar) and Sweetie.
Legacy (he ate so fast, and so much!)
On my way back from work, I dropped in to see Roger and Olivia.  Olivia was spayed on Monday and is doing very well now.  Roger is responding to the medication for tick fever, but very slowly.  His bloodwork was done and it showed some improvement in the blood levels.  I discussed with Dr Vijay, and he said normally, dogs show better improvement in the blood levels when given medication for tick fever.  Roger’s response is rather slow.  But the important thing is that there is some improvement.
On the other side of Subang Jaya, Eva is giving Ainey quite a bit of work over at the warehouse in her workplace.  I had fed her canned food last night, and the naughty girl is now refusing to eat kibbles.  But she would gladly polish up all the canned food.  Ainey said all her colleagues adore Eva and says she is so, so cute.
Would anyone like to adopt her?

Hi Kah Yein, I find that it's always more comfortable to line 1/3 to 1/2 of the cages with cardboard, for the cat/dog to lie on, and it can be replaced easily if/when it's soiled. It would be good even for tiled cages, as they could be cold to lie on. If you want, I can collect some used cardboard from my workplace and pass to you, cut or uncut. I don't know how many I can gather at this time, but I do see some unwanted boxes around (We're in the distribution business). I hope you like my suggestion.
