A happy reunion at PAWS

While we were at PAWS with Russell, we witnessed a very happy reunion.

A group of friends came to PAWS to look for a stray dog whom they had been feeding for some time.  Apparently, the local council MBPJ had captured the dog, and MBPJ dogs are housed at PAWS.

The group finally located their dog.  They were so relieved and happy.

Here he is:

He is so well-fed, isn’t he?
According to this group of friends, six households feed him every day (that is why he is so “prosperous”!) because he is such a nice dog.  They all love him.  He has even been neutered.  Isn’t it a pity that he was captured?  Luckily the MBPJ dogs are sent to PAWS, and I was told PAWS does not euthanise healthy dogs, unlike those other pounds that we know of.
I shudder to think what would have happened if this dog was located in a different area, captured and thrown into the pound.  He might have caught numerous diseases by now.  Or worse…
The happy friends gave him a bath, and decided to take him to a temple for shelter since they can’t risk MBPJ capturing him again.
You see, if only our local councils would agree on CNRM where neutered dogs (indicated by the left ear tip) would not be captured anymore, this dog would still get to live happily in the neighbourhood where he is well-loved and cared for.
Let’s push for CNRM in our local councils, shall we?
This earth belongs to the animals too.  They have every right to live out their natural lives.  If only humans would learn to be more tolerant of the existence of our furry friends, we can then live peacefully together.

Contact PAWS immediately and ask if there is any dog surrendered by MBPJ on that morning.
