Visiting an old friend

Mulan was a dog we rescued from Pulau Ketam way back in July 2009 when we joined SPCA’s Klinik Kembiri’s spay-neuter campaign on the island.  The owner had brought Mulan (a name given by me) for spaying but after that, decided he did not want her anymore.

We brought Mulan back, albeit having to sweet-talk the ferry driver into letting us put her on board.

Flashback, July 2009
Subsequently, Mulan was adopted and is now living a comfortable life with a family.
For this Chinese New Year, we got to visit Mulan again because her owners have gone on holiday, and one of our volunteers is helping to feed her while her owners are away.
Mulan today.  She has grown a lot since then.
Not all dogs have such a fairy-tale life.  Mulan is one lucky girl.
Happy New Year, Mulan!
Enjoy your food!
